Registration Process
PMA FRUITTRADE 2015
  • In order to participate in the business roundtable, you must fill in the FORM EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE BUSINESS ROUNDTABLE by clicking HERE

IMPORTANT: This form is unique and exclusive to the Business Roundtable and is completely independent from any other form filled out to attend the PMA Fruittrade 2015.

  • Wait for us to validate your registration. This will take approximately 5 days.

PMA Fruittrade validates the registration of companies participating in the Business Roundtable in order to ensure that there is reliable and updated information on the participants.

  • While we validate your registration, continue to fill in you fact sheet, adding all the products/services that your hope to purchase or offer, as applicable. This is very important for the searches that will be made when we open the calendars.

Don't forget to check the participation guidelines HERE.

  • Approximately one month before the event, the Business Roundtable will open its calendars, and from that moment on you can request meetings through the system (you may also receive meeting requests), which may be accepted or rejected.

  • You can cancel or re-schedule a meeting at any time.

  • It is important that you administer your meetings calendar well, since new participants register practically every day, and certainly more than one will interest you. For this reason we recommend that you do not immediately fill up your entire meeting calendar. In addition, remember that you can also meet with producers and suppliers with stands in the exhibition.

  • Finally, you must go to the salon to meet with your counterparts. If you are a buyer, PMA Fruittrade Latin America will assign you a table for the two days of the Business Roundtable. If you are a Producer/Exporter, you must show up at the buyer’s table at the agreed upon time.

At the PMA Fruittrade Latin America Business Roundtable, you will have Wi-Fi internet access available at no additional cost, so that you may check your calendar at any time, or fulfill any other internet requirements.

PMA FRUITTRADE provides an information center specific to the Business Roundtable with qualified staff and computers to check and print out your meeting calendars.

There will be a mobile phone and/or tablet-charging station on the grounds, as well as lockers that can be used to store basic elements during your meetings.

Translators - PMA FRUITTRADE provides interpreters free of charge to the participants during the Business Roundtable , who will help you to overcome language barriers and make this gathering a successful meeting point.

General Information
BUSINESS ROUNDTABLE

WHAT IS IT?

The Business Roundtable is an opportunity to set up face to face meetings between buyers and sellers. Sellers enter information about their commodities, products, and/or services into the system.  Buyers enter information about what they want to purchase. The system creates possible matches enabling buyers and sellers to schedule meetings during PMA Fruittrade 2015.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Everything begins when you register through our web platform. Your participation will be authorized. About one month before the event,  the meeting calendars will open and you will be able to set up meetings

WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

Prior to the event, you can review the information of the registered participants and ask them for a meeting. They can ask you for a meeting too. These meeting requests can be accepted or rejected. When you arrive at the Business Roundtable salon, your meeting calendar will be structured.

Supermarkets/importers and suppliers will have tables set aside for them in the salon where they can meet with the producers/exporters on their agendas.

WHICH SECTORS PARTICIPATE?

  • Supermarkets

  • Importers

  • Fruit and vegetable wholesalers and distributors

  • Food service operators

  • Latin American fruit and vegetable producers/exporters

  • Industry suppliers with a stand at the Expo

WHO PARTICIPATES?
  • Production Sector (Producers/Exporters)

These are the farm/production owners or managers who are alert to anticipating change and improving productivity. They are proactive and are generally the first to adopt technology within the sector. Here you can find added value in the different products offered and custom-made solutions to your needs.

  • Purchasing Sector (Retailers/Brokers/Supermarkets)

The buyers that visit us each year are wholesalers, importers, retailers, supermarket chains, brokers and others, from the primary markets in Europe, Asia, and the Americas, in addition to Chile.

  • Supplier Sector (Packaging/Nurseries/Technology/Seeds/Inputs/Others)

The services/supply sector of the fruit and vegetable industry is extensive. For the first time, the Business Roundtable is open to this sector, enabling them to have the opportunity, in addition to the exposition, to  interact directly with the production sector in the form of face to face meetings, scheduled in advance.

Those registered in the Business Roundtable have access to the exhibition, education sessions, Inaugural Breakfast and the Cocktail Reception, at no additional cost.
